Ecoplan Steel Castings is engaged in carrying out its processes efficiently and with special care for the environment, ensuring strict compliance with environmental legislation and investing in modern technology and equipment that reduces energy consumption and pollution levels. In addition, the company takes special care in optimizing its natural resources, choosing inputs that have minimal environmental impact and annually recycling more than 14,000 tons of sand, which represents an 80% reduction in the consumption of this raw material, helping to reduce the environmental impact due from both the sand extraction activity and its disposal. This means more than 10.000m³ of sand that is no longer removed from nature and sent to landfills.

A principal forma de contribuir para a transição energética está na escolha de fontes renováveis, uma vez que a energia gerada por usinas eólicas, fotovoltaicas, hidrelétricas, ou a biomassa, contribuem para evitar a emissão de CO2, reduzindo o impacto sobre o clima do planeta.

A Ecoplan conseguiu atingir os mais altos padrões de gestão de energia, ao escolher fontes renováveis, reduzindo emissões mesmo para um ano tão desafiador como o de 2020. Essa escolha proporcionou a redução de 234,248 tCO2 equivalentes de emissões de gases de efeito estufa. A emissão evitada pela empresa, equivale ao sequestro de CO2 realizado por cerca de 28,717 mil árvores de mata atlântica durante um ano!

O atestado foi emitido de acordo com o GHG Protocol Corporate Standard, considerando os contratos de energia incentivada firmados pela Ecoplan em 2020, os quais foram compatibilizados com os dados da Câmara de Comercialização de Energia – CCEE.

We renew, every day, our commitment to invest in their constant development and motivation, offering them training and assistance in technical and academic education, direct benefits such as cafeteria, food benefits and preservation and health care through health insurance, dental and psychotherapeutic plans, as well as a pharmacy agreement and vaccination campaigns.

The occupational health of its employees is also a first-rate care for the company, which invests in protective equipment and strict supervision and inspection by our occupational safety technicians.

ATHLETE OF THE FUTURE

Posicionando-se de forma ativa e coerente ao seu compromisso com a sociedade através da criação de oportunidades e de incentivo ao desenvolvimento humano, em 2015 a Ecoplan, em parceria com o SESI de Cachoeirinha, tornou-se a empresa Madrinha do Programa Atleta do Futuro. Este programa atende em média 120 jovens da comunidade no período inverso à escola, oferecendo diversos benefícios desde o estímulo à prática de atividades físicas até a promoção de valores ligados ao esporte e à formação pessoal e profissional.

VOLUNTARY GROUP

Ecoplan supports volunteer projects organized on its premises by its own employees, as a way to encourage solidarity and awareness of their social role, generating internal bonds of union and integration in favor of the social development of nearby communities.

The voluntary group “Corrente do Bem”, formed by Ecoplan employees, started its movement by supporting families who suffered losses due to severe storms occurred in greater Porto Alegre in 2015. Its operation has strengthened over time, starting to aggregate more participants, united by the single ideal of helping others.
Currently, the group is responsible for several projects aimed at families in situations of risk and vulnerability, children in need entities and care centers for the elderly in nearby communities.
